OpenText Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

bonuses have been decent, starting base salary was good but no increases since then

bonus. stock not worth much.

Medical and Dental are reasonable.

Benefits are competitive and good number of PTO days

Pay is good / better than good and the health care benefits are world class for US employees.

I like the pay the best.

Commission rate and competitive base salary

competitive salary, pretty good for an intern

My managers have always proactively managed my package. I have has limited cause to worry about salary. lots of other benefits that I use also.

Review from Sales Dept

Benefits package and vacation days were available on day one, no probation period.

Employee Stock Options and Education benefits

Employee stock purchase program is great with a 15% cut on market rates

Very competitive compared to the matket

Regular reviews - not a lot of room for major increases, but consistent 1 to 3 percent annual increases.

Additions such as benefits packages, profit sharing, educational reimbursement and fitness and wellness reimbursements.

Great benefits focused on work life balance

Review from Sales Dept

Good benifits and 401k package

Review from IT Dept

Fair, based on individual as well Company's performance

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Market indicates higher pay for similar positions

Salary is less.. it's very hard to get promotion

More of it and not keeping up with market rates

The company wants to look good for the investors, but could care less about the employees. No pay raises, even though my performance review was good.

Company policy is to move jobs off shore.

If salary and bonuses were consistent with industry comparative, that'd be at good starting point. Currently, below market on both.

Pay transparency, better benefits and a salary increase for good performance more than 1%.

The CEO is completely out of touch with rank and file employees and third-party contractors.

Pay parity with peers and the restoration of the holiday shutdown between Christmas and New Year's.

Based on my experience and my flexible work efforts.

There is zero comp and zero bonuses unless your friends with upper management

I was underpaid when my manager hired me - he never thought that i would be so passionate about my work and the business. He never thought that i would go beyond my duties as some people in my office are always missing in action or they would do things for certain people only.

My ex manager underpaid me as he did not anticipate that i would have so much of passion for my job and am willing to do other scopes to ensure things are going smoothly.

There needs to be salary adjustments based on inflation or at least tied to performance. Those from acquisitions have way higher pay which is unfair.

at minimum, pay increases that keep pace with inflation, but this is even a big ask for the company. My spending power has reduced every year I've been at the company.

The only reason I stay is the healthcare benefits are great. I also work with a great team for a decade, so as long as I stay in my bubble I'll deal with all the other nonsense until I retire!

every working standard is need to be paid according to the work

Review from Sales Dept

Male dominated teams where women underpaid, underutilized, and unpromotable

The US health insurance is the worst I've seen across my career. The company boasts of dong well & stock is rising but salaries remain flat. Raises do not even match COL increases.

Yes. If they would have paid me about 40k more and not grossly underpaid me
