This company is by far one of the best organizations I've been a part of, I feel seen in every way. They cultivate an environment of free-thinking without consequence. I also admire the dedication to DEI for all. Glad to be here.
The leadership team at Oportun is exemplary in their ability to provide a clear sense of direction and purpose. They effectively communicate their vision and goals, inspiring and motivate the entire team to work towards a common objective with passion and dedication.

The leadership team is very honest about the situation of the company, the information is clear and precise. Trust and communication exists in all departments and all directions.
They are not only passionate the companies mission but they care about the employees and take their employees into consideration when making leadership decisions
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Faster decisions and letting managers have some decisions over money and team.
Proffesssionalism, respect employes schedule, do NOT be focus only on bonus.
Untrustworthy leadership. Several times there would be a commitment for improvements and they never followed through. Complaints were not followed up on. Low employee morale and lack of appreciation for good work.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Always being negative about my perfomance eventhough on disbursmets, applications, customer service, loomis my performance was exceptional comsidering I am new
I know that i am on the lower tier for my position and the annual raises are not sufficient to make up that gap
I do feel under valued. Some mangers low ball you on hourly pay when you become STL only because you already work at the company and they asume you are only worth a small increase unl like new STL who are hired from the outside get offered a much higher rate of pay when they are not as knowledgeable

there is a long delay between interview and job offer
