Paycom Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I would say compensation equals the amount of work that we put into this job, which makes it all worth it to come to into the office every day and know that your hard work is recognized

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 4 days ago

Commission, base salary, car allowance

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 5 days ago

There is no cap on the compensation - you get to drive your own compensation at the end of the day. What you put in you get out of it. I love that it's transparent, fair and hasn't changed since day 1.

Company perks - Gym , lunch, events etc

The gas and cell phone stipends, the $1 benefits

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 9 days ago

We were getting stocks that vest, when that happens there's a large amounts we are able to cash out. Very helpful.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

We have a lot of options for my family and great communication.

The insurance has been a blessing for me and my family. Having a young son who has autism, our insurance has allowed us to receive assistance through ABA therapy with little cost to us and we have seen him thrive because of it. I am very thankful to Paycom for this.

High salary & commission structure is uncapped. My employee medical insurance is $1 a month & we get lots of PTO!

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Paycom Covers a majority of my health benefits. More take home at the end of the day!

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

$1 health insurance and the opportunity to earn up to 44% commission!

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

The commission structure makes it so that all yhe additional effort you make in the role truly makes an impact in my personal life.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

$1 a month medical insurance- unheard of!!!

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 11 days ago

Best part about comp is uncapped commission, $1 health coverage, bonuses after hitting certain processed thresholds.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 11 days ago

In sales, we are rewarded for doing great work! That is what every salesperson wants

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 11 days ago

$1 Medical insurance per pay period.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 12 days ago

The health insurance is amazing here, as well as the PTO policy.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 12 days ago

It is very lucrative and employee friendly

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 16 days ago

Uncapped commissions my financial success depends on the work that I put in and is a direct reflection of that

Review from Sales Dept · Posted a month ago

The benefits are amazing and are a big reason I chose to work here.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted a month ago

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay does not match the increased workload. Salary and Bonus Adjustments can make employees feel better.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

When the level up process got frozen, I stayed at a level two pay rate, doing the same amount and quality of work a senior was doing. In addition, I have been required to learn multiple more duties and increase my workload with only 2 small annual raises for the past two years. I would like a raise.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation for the base PSD role is low for the level of experience and knowledge that I bring to the role and was non-negotiable. Unless a market adjustment occurs or remote work becomes available, there's nothing that can change this situation other than promoting to Senior then Exec ASAP.

Review from Customer Support Dept

With the recent firing of QA and product analysts my department has taken on additional responsibilities that were previously their duties. This has increased our workload and responsibilities without any sort of compensation adjustment to match the increase in duties and expectations.

Review from Operations Dept

Before the recomp, I was almost ready to submit my level 3 documentation. Now, I'm being paid the entry level salary. I feel like my experience and knowledge was ignored.

Review from IT Dept

Compensation should be evaluated more regularly to keep up with industry standards. For people who have been here several years, we can be locked into merit increases each year with newer hires making more money than us because our own compensation hasn't been revisited.

Review from Operations Dept

The cost of living is high. You need to pay employees based on that. Also it's Christmas no bonus but higher ups coming in to work sites talking about the profits that the company made. but not sharing with the employees that help you make the profits. It very disheartening.

Review from Operations Dept

Comparing the pay here to other opportunities of the same value in the market, we are being pretty heavily underpaid.

Review from Operations Dept

Currently don't have bonuses, stocks, or commission in my role. Most of the company does and comparable jobs in my field do as well. Would like some sort of incentive outside of base salary.

Review from Sales Dept

I expect a compensation review to happen for my department. based on the research I have done on the market for my position we are not getting comparable total compensation (outside just salary)

Review from Product Dept

The salary conception is amazing but the overtime requirements are starting to drain my motivation. I appreciate the opportunities but the client regions varies so having everyone on the same pay scale is very deceiving and exhausting.

Review from Operations Dept

Making less than industry standard, less than people who started after me and are lower level, high prio projects in unrealistic timelines.

Review from Business Development Dept

There are employees in our department making 6 figures and not doing the level of work that is expected of those in my role.

Review from Business Development Dept

People around me, who have been here less time by 2+ years, are making more than me. I bring these concerns to management and am told that is the job market.

Review from IT Dept

The pay disparity is pretty evident due to location, tenure and job duties. A few of us were excluded from the last market value catch up and that is going to look different for a lot of people as they progress through years esply if reporting to DFW metropolitan area, with raising costs.

Review from IT Dept

I think additional projects outside of the scope of the position, willingness to join available projects, creating and owning projects, and productivity should reflect more on compensation without making it a competition within your own team/department to be recognized as excelling.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I do not believe people are paid to their merit. Everything is just dependent on what level you got hired at. Dev points are still extremely subjective, especially since tickets are not estimated out nor closed with proper status tags. I can be performing at 5 levels up but not reach that for 5 yrs

Review from Engineering Dept

They took away competencies for almost a year and are now late on this years. It is not a good look to not care about the ees pay to this degree. that went away and now this is the 3rd raise that has been taken away, but dangled in our faces for months before actually finding out it was a no.

Review from Operations Dept

I believe that for the amount of work and responsibilities in the job would it be fantastic to have a better compensation that aligns with it.

Review from Operations Dept

We recently seen a lot of perks get taken away including a stricter dress code. Our department has recently seen a lot of new duties heaped on the specialists without clear communication of compensation updates. The job is much different now than it was when I was hired.
