What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like how we strategize our game plans together and support one another to do the very best we can

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 4 days ago

The leadership team communicates expectations clearly to us and lead by example. They have a wealth of knowledge and it is a pleasure to learn from Zach and Rob

My Sales Manager goes above and beyond to ensure that I'm showing up both personally and professionally to be the best version of myself. My Sales EVP challenges and supports me to grow as a Sales Rep, and I'm constantly learning each and every day.

Structured processes and protocols to address employee advancement.

I love the support that I've been given throughout my time here so far, starting from applicant all the way through. Cait, my recruiter, the management team, my sales manager, and my team has been so incredibly helpful, I feel set up for success.

I feel like we can talk to them whenever we need to.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

Our leadership team is strategic, acts with clarity and speed. There has continued to be improved alignment and communication with expectations and training suport.

I think the part that I enjoy the most from my management team is their level of connection they have with me. I don't feel a level of disconnect with I discuss issues with them and they always allow me to provide feedback and stay close to the work to ensure we are successful as a department.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

My leadership team proactively informs me if my metrics are trending in the wrong direction so that I can start correcting them earlier which is very helpful for me! I rather know now than at the last minute.

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 9 days ago

They are very interactive with all frontline employees/managers. They make all decisions in the best interest of us and our clients. They are forward thinking and always staying on the forefront of technology innovation.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 9 days ago

They truly care about us. Not just our performance.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

Their willingness to pull everyone together and continually pour into employees to be able to deploy and execute on the expectations.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

I really appreciate how hands on the sales leadership is. When its important, they carve out the time to ensure you are succesfull.

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 10 days ago

They are so motivating and actually care about each employee in and outside of the office!

Review from Sales Dept · Posted 11 days ago

Leadership is committed to top performance. They are intense and expect the very best. They consistently push employees out of their comfort zone and challenge them to execute. Leadership at Paycom is for gritty, hardworking talent, who wants to win.

My leadership team cares about my success inside and outside of work. My leader has a great balance of encouragement and challenge, to continue making me be my best.

So far in training we have had conversations with Jeff York, Rob Magness, and Zach Richter from our leadership team and the knowledge, advice, and care for our professional development has been great.

They are development focused, diverse and adaptive

Review from Operations Dept · Posted 23 days ago

They have such a high level of involvement with every single sales person who touches the organization that is extremely unique to Paycom only

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Understanding work/life balance and attainable workloads.

Review from Marketing Dept

Communication has always been an issue. Once an entire job site department was laid off and there were still no answers to comfort or retain others, I think a lot of people lost trust in current leadership.

Review from Operations Dept

Valuing the work that operations employees do, it has been over a year of cuts of perks and benefits with only an increased workload to show for it. It is extremely difficult to be motivated for a workplace that continuously asks for more while offering less.

Review from Operations Dept

stick to a clear vision of the future and goals that the business is moving towards. Often, goals and expectations are changing weekly that do not allow employees to set goals for themselves and achieve those goals. Promotions have been on hold for 7 month and not allowing my growth to happen

Review from Product Dept

Immediate supervisor is great, but above that, there is no humanity or personal involvement. There is not proper project planning, and processes can be better to mitigate bottlenecks and stress. Feedback processes need to be implemented and more transparency needs to be practiced.

Review from Engineering Dept

If there could be any kind of structure in place or boxes that need to be checked before big moves that completely change people's lives. I know this can be what's best for the company, but what about the employee's day to day lives that depend on leaderships knowledge.

Review from Operations Dept

Theres a strong emphasis on output, and not one on the quality of work. There is no consistency, guidance, documentation, code is not scalable, there is no structure or organization. The company will likely collapse in the next 5 years. We need to pause and fix what is there before scaling further

Review from Engineering Dept

Listening to client and front line feedback

Review from Sales Dept

Retention and building knowledge with way better training.

Review from Sales Dept

casting vision, getting buy in, giving autonomy, reading the room, growing and developing people

Review from Marketing Dept

Better pay for engineers who have been at the company for a few years. More flexibility in work schedules with more options for remote work. The food quality is atrocious, so better quality meals even if that means increasing its cost by a bit.

Review from Engineering Dept

approval of PO's is a huge set back in a company that is growing very fast. If leadership does not make it a priority to approve or deny it as fast as possible it causes work to backup and me on hold.

Review from IT Dept

Alignment of KPIs and how we measure success. Partnering with counterparts in Dev/QA can be a huge challenge. Ops is held accountable to strict deadlines and customer delivery whereas it seems Dev/QA can move dates constantly and not put the customer first. Concerned how their success is measured.

Review from Operations Dept

The Paycom culture, specifically sales culture, is 100% focused on making money and getting rich. Higher ups and trainers flaunt a flashy lifestyle and expect newbies to work to the bone. It is incredibly superficial and unkind in nature.
