They are close to the people, great motivators

Experienced and good mentors. CEO is very involved and available for the most part. The longterm vision is probably what excites me most about the company.

The management team is experienced and genuinely care. They've been good mentors. The CEO is very involved and while busy, is available when needed. The long term vision is strong and probably the biggest reason why I joined.

There is an open door policy for anything you feel needs to be brought to the attention of our CEO. He advocates for his team and consistently shows appreciation. He is very transparent w/ how the business is being run/what is going on w/ the board & he requests feedback to make sure we are happy.

The pay is good, and they have pretty comprehensive benefits. Free lunch.

Free lunches and the ability to order exactly what you want from the restaurant. Also wonderful location right by Santa Cruz California.

Compensation is above average for Santa Cruz. Nice to not have to commute to get tech wages.

We have a very personable and brilliant team that is dedicated to making PayStand successful. Everyone is always willing to help each other out - prooving we possess a true team dynamic.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Departments need to share more info, instead of being pitted against each other

Be more open minded and not so clique-ish.

People work hard and everyone is a team player. No Politics which is refreshing.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

It's a competive market so we always feel the urge to push ourselves.

Fast paced, high energy, lots to do, with high impact. Definitely a startup rocketship experience.

Very fast pace. You will either love it or hate it.

Camaraderie and teamwork are the best things about our company culture.

Very positive and motivational. We love to laugh and play hard, but I am part of a team of extremely diligent people that are constantly breaking the mold and are a big part of why PayStand has seen such great success.

What makes you most happy at work?

collaborating with peers to come up with the most outrageous solutions to what sometimes feels like the most outrageous situations!

Having my work appreciated and having direct impact on the companies success.

Building something that matters and being at a startup that my work is valued and I personally can make a lot of impact

The work we are doing is interesting and I can see us changing and growing to be better as a company

I love meetings with my CEO. He has become a mentor in my life and the things I've learned from him are absolutely priceless. We also get 2 meals catered per week, gotta love hardy, healthy, free food!
