Executive Bio

Mr. John J. Kelly has been Chief Merchandising Officer and Senior Vice President of Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack since March 3, 2014. Mr. Kelly is responsible for all aspects of Pep Boys' merchandising operations, including supply chain and visual presentation. He has over 30 years of merchandising experience in both hard and soft lines as well as brick and mortar and online merchandising. He served as the President of Decible. He served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising at Circuit City Stores Inc., since January 2008. He served as Senior Vice President and General Merchandise Manager of Technology at Circuit City Stores Inc., since 2005. Mr. Kelly assumed the responsibilities of Chief Merchandising Officer in November 2007. Mr. Kelly served as Vice President of Home Merchandising, and Vice President of QVC.com for QVC, Inc., from 2001 to 2005; and Vice President of Appliances, and Senior Vice President of the consumer electronics division for Sharp Electronics Corporation from 1996 to 2001. He was employed by Macy's for 15 years in various positions, including the executive training program and Divisional Merchandise Manager Vice President of Electronics.
