Company is a mess. People that manage other people aren't fit for the job, only got to those positions by failing upwards. If the managers that got selected to manage had to interview at other companies, they never would have made it.

The recruiting team that lied to me, I really liked them. They were good at what they did and I can't be angry with them for the lies
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Get rid of the directors and managers that are only there because they stayed for years. Grab the reigns and focus on growing your associates, make them smarter. Embrace technology. Stop allowing people to get into positions of power that are afraid of change.
