How employees describe working at P.F. Chang's
Very racially one sided as far as kitchen employees go. If you are not of spanish decent don't bother getting a job there especially if the head chef is one.
Mae is the nicest and most amazing manager
Friendly staff made some friends there

My manager at the Huntsville, AL location, Mike, was absolutely awful. He was rude and also inappropriate with his female employees.

How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at P.F. Chang's?
It wasnt for me before bc most of us when i started were taught the restaurant as a whole was a family so most of us hung out with each other after work
Nah, my social life was great before and has only improved.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining P.F. Chang's?
I wish i would have known that they were going to change the way they were going to hire their management and treat their employees

the last location i worked at was and is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like it was when i started!! it has turned into what ive always hated about working in corporate chains

well they use to have great benefits but that no longer is worth anything

well the office from the store i worked at last was quite small and was messy but i did not work in the office at the last location

High paced for the most part unless you are in a bad location.
How does P.F. Chang's measure success and growth in the Customer Support department?
well it used to be measured on hard work...... NOW they hire from outside of the company rather than from within in which those managers have their favorites and the whole moral of the restaurant turns sour bc your employees not only see this but bc their staff is unhappy it reflects on the way their customer service is to the guests. It's a domino affect!! You mistreat your employees they become disgruntled which leads to how they treat their "guest"
Why work for P.F. Chang's?
Well when I started there originally they made promises of promotions from within the company they also gave good health care. They also SAID that ALL HARD WORK would NOT go UNNOTICED. I traveled for the company on my on dime which i was happy to do bc at the time the managers did notice my hard work dedication and loyalty; so they took care of me and my family the best they could. However things began to change when they started going back on their word
