Philips Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

group insurance rate and 401k match

I don't want to discuss about that

Company stock as a retention bonus, however valuation is so poor that it regularly is cut to 1/3 the original value when vested. We are forced to leave a lot of potential on the table if we leave, but if we do not then we harm our own value in the long term.

It is more than competitive

Insurance and vision coverage and fsa

Company pension and company car

The 401K matching at 7%

Benifits are top notch. Can't complain.

Most of my compensation is fixed

Pension, bonus system, performance based salary increase

401k match is excellent at 7%

Salary and flexibility of choices

Benefits related to professional and personal development are really excellent. In addition, flexible health insurance benefits are really good.

It is an overall nice package

Out of touch with local economy for my job title - underpaid.

Review from Operations Dept

abilty to be paid based on performance

benefits are better than most

company safeguarded their employees and never disappointed

The fringe benefits like fitness reimbursement and health advocate gives $400 a year that I spent on tech

Review from Operations Dept

It is profitable in all areas, if you can afford to get the maximum taken out of your pay.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Respect and appreciation would go a long way

Cost of Living Increases, at least matching the rate of inflation; making more than (barely) 40k / yr so I can afford to live

That yearly reviews are open. You want more performance but not equivalent pay increase

I've consistently (3 years) rated well in my PPM but been told there is no room (ie. a position at the next grade) available for me. My last bonus was an insult and just rubbed in the fact the glass ceiling hasn't moved. I wonder how these surveys are used, or even if they're read by a real person

fair comparison with market value

There is a disparity between how European employees are managed and rewarded (better) vs. US employees (worse). This leads to resentment.

more! I am wearing 2 hats, I have experience and compententices 10x my colleagues and there for compensate, support or mentor them, all of which is developing better assets for Philips however I am not paid enough.

Common employee wont get stock options

Poorest paying job for most demanding job in 20 years in industry

the performance review can easily be manipulated by managers who do not want to lose their seats in the organization, so potential is ignored

More money, more reasonable expectations, & the ability to review management that actually impacts their wages. Management runs unrestrained, that is why this company is horrid. There is no accountability for management's abuse.

Expectation that i should double and triple hat, for the same salary. The LTI are flat, regardless of my performance result

Salary could be better, flexible pay model eats away at a lot

Came into Philips via acquisition and took an immediate $30k hit in base salary and 80% reduction in commission rate.

The pay was above average in the country (Panama) But still noy sufficient for the actual living costs

I should be paid the same for comparable work within the organization.

I would like it if leadership actively sought ways to make the offering profitable for customers.

I don’t feel undervalued - comp more generous than other places I’ve worked
