make everybody more accountable incl. execs, VP and directors. Focus on cloud and new offerings, "disrupt yourself before somebody disrupts you". Pay attention to the only resource that is a differentiator/competitive advantage - PEOPLE
Bring back the innovation. Dedicate teams to work on issues in the field. Look in my deep pockets to upgrade compensation plans for non-directors and VPs to stop the brain drain and then acquire top talent to get back in leadership in marketplace

very Risk averse and conservative in outlook and thinking. Readily agree to strategy and direction w/o understanding. Believes in the culture of sycophancy and showing others down so that they can look higher.

How does Poly make decisions around promotions?
SVP, VPs and some Directors make all the decisions around promotions
Insider engineering and Global services organization, promotions are common. Stay away from Operations if you ever care to be promoted. Financial rewards are poor at best. Gone are the days when you could make some of it back with stock based compensation.

depends on groups. Some are expected to be available 24x7, weekends, holidays etc. and some work strict 9-5

nothing actually. The company's products are being cannibalized with lower priced products across the board. Company lacks vision even under new owners and is in a downward spiral.
