I love the vision for the future. I think the CEO and Avaya will be a success. I also feel experience is not valued. For employees who have worked for 20 or more years in this industry, the general feel is that the company wants us gone to hire direct from universities as the only future workforce.
Continual disappointment in the culture and executive leadership. They speak about destination place to work but do not exhibit or nurture an environment supportive of this goal on a daily basis.

How's the morale at Avaya?
Morale at Avaya was much better the first half of 2018. However, the 2nd half has been beset by missed sales goals, executive turnover and unexplained layoffs of key senior staff in the field. Not surprisingly, good people are leaving in droves and those remaining are just coasting, waiting for the ax.
Awesome! IPO excitement
Morale at Avaya has been quite low for some time now. Hopefully, the transition out of bankruptcy to a publicly traded software/cloud company will both improve the company's future opportunities and employee morale. It will probably be a bit rough for at least several more months as even more employees are separate from Avaya.
How rewarding is your job at Avaya?
Its excellent. Customers are awesome
Not very. Too few resources+too many demands.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Avaya?
Get rid of the legacy Nortel blue leadership that can't think themselves out of the capex box .
Better incentive for the people that make a difference and card about meeting our goals.

Very engaged, friendly, and growth-oriented culture.

It's awesome. I work 24 hours a day. Just not in the office.

It is above average, but your position will be cut and moved overseas at some point to save costs.
