There are to many times the ball gets dropped and the patient suffers. I like their consistency of implementing policies but they do not adhere to management. There is no one that monitors management or supervisors. Not sure how we got Forbes number 1 company because the benefits are not good.

Communication with employees and follow through.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The team of employees...because no matter how short staffed we are we always help eachother
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team always pulls together and fills in the gaps on overbooked days which is all the time because our manager only worries about getting the highest encounter rate.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Management only cares about the amount of encounters and not the patient. If they focused less on the total number and more on the patient everyone would be more happy overall
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Promedica does not recognize us as what we are. They lump us in with MA's and that is not what we do. We have levels of certification just like nurses do. Our pay is way under the average compensation based on certification standards.
