the team spirit of lower level working ready to help at any time
Rackspace has a good talent for hiring good people that want to help others, at least on the lower levels. i wouldn't necessarily say that for anything above director.
Hiring more people to ensure that burnout doesn't happen, right now everyone is overloaded and ready to leave, where they can go to a company that is paying more as well with better work life balance.
Too much work, no work life balance, not enough pay for 24/7 availability expectations, lack of support from the technical teams supposed to be doing the work, ELT breathing down people's necks with unrealistic expectations, having to do an insane amount of accounting and auditing for other teams
Because i work 24/7, i'm set up with sales goals in a non-sales role that are unattainable, and am doing everyone else's job on top of my own because rackspace decided to do two massive layoffs last year. i have to figure things out or ask other rackers due to lack of training as well.
