This upcoming November 2019 will be my 1 year at the company. The year has gone by so fast. I don't dread going to work and my coworkers are all so friendly. I enjoy seeing the same faces everyday. In past companies, a high turnover rate was common. It's not common at all at Ralphs.
What makes you most happy at work?
I get a sense of accomplishment daily.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They care about their jobs and doing well.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're understanding, patient, and care about their employees. I enjoy my job and working with my coworkers.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
We're awarded $125 for vision and $1000 for Dental that we can use for either glasses/contacts and any type of dental work we would like to get done.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Kroger is trying to end world hunger through their 0 waste program and there are so many other things they do to help the less fortunate. I feel proud working for this company.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I already knew someone working there so they spoke to management and got me an interview. We spoke as if we were already long time friends and I was given a position that was higher than the rest, which they do not typically do. They like to start you from the very bottom. Courtesy clerk style.
