How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at Randstad?
Very manageable work-life balance. The office culture is very strictly 8am-5pm. Everyone arrives to work at roughly 8am, and leaves promptly at 5pm. No one is expected to put in overtime, unless your manager approves it in advance. There is very rare chance of overtime unless your department may be running behind on target budgets, and they allow employees to volunteer for overtime but it is not required. This happened once for an entire month in the 6 months I worked there. Overtime was just 2 additional hours (5pm-7pm).

I wish I knew and properly understood commission structures and the most effective ways to source and recruit candidates very early on.

It took a week for them to get back to me after my final phone interview, and my start date was set up to begin 3 weeks from then.
