As a talent employee, I think the pay and benefits are good. Support is good in my experience. I wish there was PTO, and not just sick time allowed. It seems to depend on your client situation. That can be a problem at times.
Training recruiters and benefits staff to respond. Offering competitive compensation over stagnant wages. Encouraging honesty. Overseeing recruiters who resort to ageism.

Very good

Very flexible
Aquent handles remote / work from home situations on a case by case basis, however if it makes sense then it is typically accommodated.
What's the Marketing team like at Aquent?
It's small and it's stretched really thin at all times. They share resources with Vitamin T and struggle to distinguish the voices at times.

I have not worked with them for a long time. Call them and ask them.

Very special, caring, and smart.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Aquent?
I don't believe the company culture has any problems.
What do people at Aquent think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
They all endorse him. He is a wonder.
How does Aquent handle HR issues?
I cannot answer this with currents specifics, but I know enough about how they feel about people to know there would be nothing negative about the process. They work things out and are very team oriented.
How innovative is Aquent?
Aquent purchased my company just as the most recent recession struck. Aquent treats employees like partners and grown-ups. I think their culture was very innovative for the time. I have no reason to think that has changed and certainly on GlassDoor people who work with them would agree with me. I think it is a great company with great leadership. Innovation is part of their DNA. If they don't innovate to keep up with the needs of their clients, they would cease to exist. I met some very smart, dedicated people there.

There is no leadership.

What's the interview process like at Aquent?
Long and inconsistent. I've referred people who never even got calls or follow ups if they did get an interview.
Do you have control over your own budget? Or is getting spend a nightmare
Nightmare! Depending on your managers. Some are a bit more generous than others.

do you agree with the overall marketing strategy there?

No. It's never cohesive, the team is constantly turning over, management Is pushing many initiatives at once and it's usually not very creative anymore.
