What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

positive attitudes, employees happy to be employed here, higher than average tenure amongst los angeles tech start-ups.

The ability to work remotely

Digital media is a very challenging environment currently - other places in town like Defy Media and Super Deluxe have recently shut down - but Ranker is nimbly adjusting to changes and is a great place to learn

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

A complete cultural shift around quality versus quantity. Managers who encourage employees to take lunches, clock out on time, etc. Not managers who base employee's merits solely on output. A better appreciation for freelancers.
