The vibe is what you make it. This is true for any working situation. You find the people you can make friends and figure out how to work with the ones where they maybe conflict. The one thing that stands out is to make sure that everyone knows how you contributed because others may take your accomplishment as their own. Each person and position is different so hours depend on the project and help that you get on the project.

I love the culture at ReachLocal and don't think anything could really be improved! There are a lot of fun activities in the office to build rapport with coworkers, and the culture is very fun.

The interview process at ReachLocal is informal and relaxed. Like most companies, they ask about your experience and want to make sure they're finding the best candidate, but they also focus on making sure the candidate is a good culture fit, so the interview is very conversational and friendly. Generally, there's a phone screen, then an in-person interview, then there may be another interview with a team.
