The best thing about working in Red Hat is I am in control of my career and In last 9 years no one stopped me from getting in to new opportunities. Also it is one of the most ethical company with respect to how it deal with customers, associates, open source communities etc.

Red Hat looks for folks who are passionate about technology. If you are already contributing to some open source project it is easier to get in.

The only constraint of growth for me is only me. Which is a good thing because Red Hat as a company gives me all the opportunity to grow

The open source culture is awesome. I can contribute to any open source project without informing anyone in the company. Red Hat encourages folks to contribute to open source community projects
What is the best part about your compensation package?
As a person I like continuous growth and I get that in Red Hat. If you are a critical part of the success then your salary will be in top 10% of the industry.
