What do you like best about the leadership team?

Open and transparent about decisions that affect all of us. They truly believe that the people at Red Hat are the most important thing the company has. They have a vision of the future that I wholeheartedly agree with and strive to make a reality each day.

great understanding of the vision

Review from Sales Dept

Try their best to be as transparent as possible

A mature, open and transparent leadership style that has been difficult to uphold as the company has scaled, but still very strong from the CEO downwards. Executive leadership engage regularly with all employees and openly tackle difficult questions posed by all employees.

No micromanagement. Relatively ample freedom.

Very Open communication and friendly people

openness, leadership style, feedback culture

I love how open and honest every can be

The leadership team really does care about Red Hatters, but many are new to their roles (there's been a lot of executive turnover) and they struggle with communication.

Practices Open Management and Balances Business Priorities with Culture. Promotes Meritocracy.

Open communication, enthusiastic leadership in Latam

Review from Operations Dept

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Execution, stability and trust toward their teams

Resigning, after consistently sabotaging the culture and atmosphere in the company.

At doing their job. Instead of throwing whatever buzzword of the moment and following blindly what consulting firms tell them to do.

Understanding of how to run an enterprise.

Stop internal politics and focus on product and customer experience.

Listen to the feedback and make changes

Communication of corporate strategy and org structure

The leadership team needs to develop a cohesive corporate and product portfolio strategy.

Review from Engineering Dept

Cohesive, aligned strategies beneath the overall company strategy.

Review from IT Dept

Lead and develop their associates

Review from Operations Dept

Delivering feedback to members of sales teams is a problem. The Sales organization prioritizes redundant forecast meetings (each business unit has separate forecasts on the same deals). Little to no time is spent coaching or providing constructive feedback to employees.
