Redfin Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Health insurance, dental, vision, vacation

The benefits are great and affordable

Benefits are very good and affordable

Overall comp is very competitive

Being salaried is nice, especially in the slow season

Review from Operations Dept

Great health care, plus eye, dental, chriropractor.

bonuses per deal. Fair wages.

Bonus, benifits (better than my nursing job)

I like the salary plus bonus system, but market downturns are difficult to survive. I wish there were financial incentives for meeting metrics when sales fall below a certain level.

I believe pay is fair and our benefits are great.

Love the benefits and 401k and stock options.

Pay may be slightly lower than some other companies, but we have amazing benefits (esp healthcare) and that is huge for me!!

health insurance, vacation time off

My health benefits are offered at better rates than competitors

Review from Operations Dept

Transparency and the benefit package.

Increases to salary to adjust for market rates and merit are fairly frequent. Most business operations employees get stock grants.

The 401k match upto a set percentage.

Parental leave and rollover time off.

Benefits are better than the federal government, hospitality companies. Good total benefits package!

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like receiving Redfin Stock as part of my compensation package

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Make more commission. Cut out useless middle management.

Salary is too low for what we do.

I know other companies pay higher. Redfin isn't competitive with their pay.

I wish the pay was more competitive to other tech companies.

I would like bi annual reviews and a higher bonus

Moved up here from SF and while the cost of living in Seattle has now exceeded SF......pay has not caught up. Redfin doesn't undervalue me .......Seattle has to catch up.

Review from HR Dept

More equity. Stock options to give me more skin in the game

Review from Operations Dept

Receiving the raise I was told I would receive once hired in the timeframe. Also, job growth. Something to look forward to career wise.

Review from Operations Dept

The pay is terrible considering the work needed.

I am a contract worker - this presents a structural disadvantage but I believe I'm undervalued versus market rate

Review from HR Dept

Pay raises based in merit and even tenure are a joke. No practical recognition program.
