I've worked for REI for more than 3 years. I love it. The managers work hard to train and retain employees. The customers are usually great and really care about preserving and enjoying the outdoors. During a recent illness, I felt very supported by the company and my managers and coworkers.

I work 40 hours a week and the vibe is laid back but still efficient and accountable.

All of the leadership that I've worked with has been very supportive and down to earth.
How would you compare interviewing at REI to other places you've interviewed?
It was very unique and I actually really enjoyed it. They ask a lot of questions that get your character and personality to shine through.
