How much diversity is there among employees at Rent the Runway?
Much more diverse than other tech companies, especially in leadership.
Well, being a female focused company, it's clearly not as good as it *could* be, but compared to almost any tech company, it's extremely diverse.
The company is actually more diverse than other companies I have seen. There are many female executives versus predominantly male leadership at other companies. Also, the executive team is diverse comprising with 50% of the exec team as non white. Many senior leadership positions are also lead by a diverse team. I believe it is at least 30% non white, but what is most diverse about the company are the backgrounds and experiences of the employees. This leads to diverse ideas and solutions that are more inventive.

Very good. Very competitive.
What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Rent the Runway? How many hours are you working?
Not too many, but then again, big launches or big sales can cause some weeks to need overtime. But, generally, 9-5.
There isn't a ton of overtime, mostly people leave right on at 6pm... but being an ecommerce company with a lot of physical requirements, "On Call" can be a bit stressful and require some pretty strenuous help. Aka, on Thanksgiving day, the team was all online (from home!) helping to work out issues.
