    Rarely. Once you cap out, that's it if you are in non-sales. Salespeople NEVER get raises. Pay has actually gone down for new people.

  • Poor enough that even customers see it now.. The last two years has definitely dropped. It's unfortunate.

    Paid time off is based on time at worked at Nordstrom. Mangers will give time off accordingly to department need, schedule ranking, and availability

  • It depends on the department. You accrue more time off the longer you have worked with the company, but in a lot of departments or positions, you can only use it during certain times. I'm unable to use vacation time about half of the days of the year.

  • Original interview when being hired was a good interview. When appling for a promotion ( unless you are the one selected) the interview was not an interview. Just a discussion on why you wanted the position.

  • HR interviews and doesn't do a good job at it. Each departments manager should do the hiring because they know what they need.
