it is very very good

Providing a right of appeal on the bans they impose on their members. Decision is made at the Support Level and once made, they refuse to discuss their decision. Once decision is made, they give you no other options for appeal. This is regardless of how many thousand of $ Dollars you have invested!

    As a single person, living close to work in this area is expensive. Wages for creative just aren't as good as they claim. Pay talent better

  • There are many remote positions at Riot games, but our general preference is toward co-located teams

  • Yes, by negotiation.

  • No. They are pretty against remote work. If you are FTE onsite, it it okay to work remotely on occasion, but not holistically.

    Stop imagining what the studio culture is. Enough with the koolaid. The company is becoming more top down and corportate everyday.

  • While it's nice to constantly strive for improvement and seek continual feedback, let's take the time to celebrate successes and strengths

    I believe it varies by team, but most are very flexible- my hours vary from day to day based on my own desires and needs. Not sure about regular remote work because it's not super possible for my team, but people do it when they need to, and I know of people on other teams that take 1+ day a week remote.

  • Individuals throughout Riot have a high level of agency over their work schedule. Teams are responsible for making commitments that provide a high value for our players balanced with quality of life for themselves.

  • Phone screenings are usually 60 minutes long; Onsite interview is full day.

    The Culture is one of feedback. The idea of only being able to fix things that they know are a problem. That said, not all departments are as open to this as they should be and it's becoming worse not better.

  • The Product team cares a lot about what players need and want; however, their ability to prioritize and manage work in progress is a hindrance. There are too many projects at Riot that are competing for resources/attention. I think this has inflated our growth and slowed down our ability to meaningfully satisfy our players.
