RMS Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Meritocracy, paid well for outcomes and lots of upside through the stock plan

Competitive Salary, Great Bonus, Decent Equity Share

Review from Engineering Dept

Great benefits for the entire family, competitive pay, and equity.

Review from Engineering Dept

It is competitive in the tech industry and meets my family's needs.

Review from Marketing Dept

bonus and salary are more than competitive

Review from Engineering Dept

competitive cash and stock plan

Monetary compensation is the best part.

Review from Engineering Dept

I would say it is the Base Salary.

Review from Operations Dept

The decent private health insurance

Review from Engineering Dept

Job flexibility to work hours depending on current responsibilities

Review from Operations Dept

Potential to earn large commission

Review from Sales Dept

Rewards contribution to the business

Review from Sales Dept

We receive a decent holiday allowance

Review from Customer Support Dept

Health care for the whole family

Review from Sales Dept

The best part is variable which sometime is delivered in full for good performance.

Review from IT Dept

Regular appreciation tokens, free lunch & dinner, Regular employee engagement events like health checkup, festivals celebration, fitness sessions etc.

Review from Operations Dept

generous time off caps (might not be the same anymore for new hires, not sure)

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part of my compensation package is my base salary

Review from Marketing Dept

The salary, pension company contributions are low

Review from Engineering Dept

My basic wage is the best part.

Review from Product Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Equity portion of comp is negligible. Bonus was reduced even after a strong personal performance.

Review from Product Dept

I earn much less in my current position compared to what I could earn in a similar position in the industry. Further, I - and generally my team colleagues too - work quite a lot of overtime, including at weekends. I often feel the amount I get paid is not worth the amount of work I'm putting in.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Salary not remotely comparable to local job market for same job title. Especially compared to other insurance/fintech modelling firms. Essentially no worthwhile benefits. Pension is messaged as 'a benefit' but in reality is the legal minimum (govt. regulation) offered.

Review from Product Dept

need to be more comparable to software companies

Review from Engineering Dept

There are times when some people leave, their positions are not backfilled and the work is distributed. It can be overwhelming at times when the work is added but the compensation is not changed.

Review from Operations Dept

We communicate with a broad audience and most of the time end up going above and beyond the role and responsibilities to the job function. This takes time and effort that requires motivation and compensation that matches the efforts

Review from Operations Dept

An increase in line with the market Increased scope for progression

Review from Customer Support Dept

Salaries more equatable to the rest of the market/clients

Review from Operations Dept

Pay is low compared to the market and level of expertise required. Benefits package is minimalist

Review from Customer Support Dept

Low salary compared to market, average benefits. I am missing long term employee programs and a culture of acknowledging long term contribution. I am still happy because of interesting work.

Review from Engineering Dept

Compensation that increased sequentially every year would be better

Review from Engineering Dept

a larger performance driven bonus

Review from Engineering Dept

A compensation that matches my experience, education, and all that I do in my role.

Review from HR Dept

A raise to compensate the responsibilities associated with the role.

Review from HR Dept

overworked, competitive long term incentive plan

Review from Engineering Dept

Additional responsibilities are often pushed onto individuals when a teammate resigns or is asked to leave the company, but no corresponding compensation occurs... individuals are expected to "get on with the work" and their workloads are no longer fairly aligned with their compensation.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Raises are barely keeping up with cost of living increases.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I believe in our team reviews aren't performance based and people are not paid based on skillet they have developed.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The titles are required to be re-calibrated. Often times, it doesn't reflect the level people operates on.

Review from IT Dept

It seems like there is not currently an effort to make pay bands that exist across teams for people of similar backgrounds, skill sets and job duties. Knowing that others who have less experience than you get paid more because they started on a different team is always disappointing.
