Saks Fifth Avenue Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

I like to work with people so me working with people and providing a service is the most fun thing being able to style people and find out what a customer really likes and is into

Meeting new people and assisting the customers

What makes me the most happiest at work is when I train someone well.

Money,of course” all you can make” m

Meeting new people & talking to my existing customers & making them happy

Review from Sales Dept

My customer interactions and trainings are informative and fun! We also receive gratis and lunch at trainings

Review from Sales Dept

I adore the clients I work with.

Review from Sales Dept

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

The manager push to sell sell sell and don't care about how we achieve the goal

Management needs to provide effective tools, a positive and motivating environment, and good communication to their employees.Saks needs to not demoralize employees!

The merchandising is out of date. Management is inept compared to other department stores and sales people are stuck up to the point that they don't even help customers or straighten their departments. This is exactly why people are happy that Nordstrom built a flagship in New York City

Review from Operations Dept

More support from management on reaching sales goals. Be realistic, how can we meet goals if there is no foot traffic ?

Insensitive management with bully qualities

Review from Sales Dept

Lots of things. Ideas are quickly implemented then abandoned and with very little communication. It's all a cluster and doesn't seem to be turning around anytime soon. Oh but our CEO makes 32 million well-earned dollars a year.

Review from Operations Dept

Need better compensation, can start with better raises

Review from Sales Dept

Everything you can imagine is going wrong
