Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Getting paid as much as other people who don't do anything but are good at making the boss feel good about himself

I'm working in CA, and my pay only 10% higher than other state, but living expenses here are 50% higher than other state, I'm not feeling benefited via the company, not to mention, my vacation/sick times are low, mileages not pay for when I support remote sites, no bonus nor holidays gifts.
