Samsung does not offer stocks, so bonus rates should be higher.

Salary is not that high for the price in bay area. And I believe main R&D team and key engineer should be recognized more than now in terms of salary and perks.

As there is no stock and my alumni in the area is getting total compensation 1.5 times of mine.. If you do not want to give us stock, then you should give cash bonus. It is not competitive for SSI to cut bonus on top of fact they do not give stocks.

I like working for this company and I truly appreciate all the opportunities this company provides, so, I just think increasing compensation to meet market standards (as other companies give stocks) would motivate the employees a bit more.

Improve compensation to retain talent. Give incentives to the most talented people so that their contributions appear appreciated and are properly rewarded. Leadership needs to step up and completely shift the culture. This will be very hard at this stage after so many years of bad management.
