Some managers are caught up in the past and refuse to change. with changing technology, we have to change or we will be left behind.
They behave like regular people.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
6% 401k contribution from the employer.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Engineers as an industry are underpaid. After 15 years it should be normal to make $200k. Adjusting for inflation that isnt a crazy salary
Other companies have a technical career path that allows for advancement without being a manager. S&L needs to review their model and adjust the salaries for technical specialist.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everyone is kind and eager to help and support each other
Small enough to know the capabilities of the team.
We have a lot of fun and know our business very well.
People love working here.

CEO and Owners are approachable.
The employees continue to hang out together after the work day ends.
