A decent place to work but not as good as it was a few ;years ago. Upper management (CEO & below) is only worried about stock price and their bonuses. Waste money on projects that don't improve productivity. Management will not upgrade equipment. Plant management is very top heavy.

Find applicants that already some work experience.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We produce quality/quantity in spite of being mismanaged.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
the basic benefits are comparable to other work places.
What makes you most happy at work?
Right now it is getting my days off and dreading a long week with overtime.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Show interest in the work/life balance of the rank/file workers. Too much overtime. They are too reactive instead of proactive where the labor force is concerned.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Promote from within the company. This used to be pushed but has fallen by the wayside. People form outside this industry usually can't comprehend what we do.
