Michael Scarpelli — Chief Financial Officer at ServiceNow

Mr. Michael P. Scarpelli has been the Chief Financial Officer of ServiceNow, Inc. (formerly Service -now.com) since August 15, 2011. Mr. Scarpelli served as a Senior Vice President of Finance & Business Operations of the Backup Recovery Systems Division at EMC from July 2009 to August 2011. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Data Domain, Inc., from September 2006 to July 2009 and served as its Senior Vice President since January 2008. He served as Vice President of Data Domain, Inc. since September 2006 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Prior to joining Data Domain, he served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer of Lexar Media Inc., from January 2006 to August 2006. He has more than 17 years financial executive experience in the technology sector. From January 2002 to December 2005, he held senior positions at HPL Technologies, Inc. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, Senior Vice President of Administration and Secretary of HPL Technologies Inc. from July 2002 to December 2005 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as an Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Micron Consumer Products Group, Inc. since January 2006 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as an Assistant Secretary of HPL Technologies, Inc., since January 2002. At HPL Technologies, he was principally responsible for its worldwide finance function including accounting, financial systems and facilities. He served as Vice President of Corporate Development at HPL Technologies since January 2002 and was responsible for the oversight of its mergers and acquisitions function. He has been a Director of Nutanix, Inc. since December 2013. He began his career and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from May 1989 to December 2001. He served as an Auditor with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP., since 1989 and its Audit Partner since 1998. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Scarpelli received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
