Robert G. Specker — VP, General Counsel & Secretary at ServiceNow

Mr. Robert G. Specker has been Vice President and General Counsel at ServiceNow, Inc. since November 2011 and serves as its serves Secretary. He is responsible for all legal matters for the company. Prior to ServiceNow, Mr. Specker served as Vice President, Legal, for the Backup Recovery Systems (BRS) Division of EMC Corporation. Mr. Specker joined EMC upon its acquisition of Data Domain, Inc. Mr. Specker managed the legal group at Data Domain, where he served as Vice President, Legal. He established the legal department and managed all legal matters for the company, including its initial public offering, follow-on public offering and acquisition by EMC. Prior to Data Domain, Specker served as Associate General Counsel at Synopsys, Inc. and Partner at Gunderson Dettmer, LLP and Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, LLP. He earned his Juris Doctorate at University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (Boalt Hall).
