Snap Finance Compensation Employee Reviews | Comparably
Snap Finance Claimed Company
Since 2012, Snap has been on a mission to bring flexible, pay-over-time financing options to all consumers. Our retail partners told us that many of their customers couldn’t qualify for traditional credit, causing embarrassment and leaving them with no way to buy the items they want and need for their families. This gap also left our retail partners with missed opportunities. At Snap, we’ve harnessed the power of data to empower customers of all credit types and to help retailers close more sales. Our technology brings together machine learning, non-traditional risk variables, and years of data to create a proprietary decisioning platform. The result is financing that looks at each customer through a more holistic, human lens. We’re proud to serve the 40% of U.S. consumers who are building or rebuilding their credit. Our fast, flexible pay-over-time solutions are changing the face and the pace of consumer retail finance. And we’re hiring! read more

Snap Finance Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I really like having private health insurance as part of my compensation package; it provides great peace of mind. My only concern is that it doesn’t currently cover depende

Review from Engineering Dept

I love the benefits that I have with the Solidarist association, and the exchange rate compensation bonus.

It's a good salary and benefits help me to reduce expenses. Like for example on my pregnancy.

Review from Operations Dept

bonuses, days off, motivosity, WFH, office location

Review from Operations Dept

Health benefits, Tava, 401k contributions

Review from Operations Dept

I like the private insurance, access to learning platforms and payment amount.

Review from IT Dept

I'm paid a good salary and my employer makes a good retirement contribution. Unlimited PTO doesn't hurt either.

Review from Operations Dept

The choices and flexibility in our package.

Review from Marketing Dept

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Review from Business Development Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I would like to receive the same salary as those who hold the same position and perform the same work.

Review from IT Dept

the new dph role out

Review from Communications Dept

My pay and the pay of many of my teammates is essentially on the lowest end of current ranges for role/experience/responsibilities.

Review from Product Dept

pay is not fair cola raises need to be implemented not just merit.

Review from Customer Support Dept

A compensation review would help.

Review from HR Dept

Promises being unfulfilled and to stop feeling like I am being baited and switched.

Review from Finance Dept

more job opportunities in the U.S majority of jobs are being taken away from us and while I love our people outside of U.S it feels like slowly we are drifting away from here. Office vibe is also not anonymous for leadership we cannot say our thoughts with out it linking to us and our team.

Review from Operations Dept

A salary adjustment that complements the internal equity

Review from HR Dept

I see equal jobs with higher pay

Review from IT Dept

My compensation and my role does not match the tasks that are assigned to me and the expectations placed on me.

Review from Operations Dept

While I greatly value my role and the opportunities at Snap Finance, reviewing compensation regularly to ensure it reflects the impact and results delivered can go a long way in addressing feelings of being undervalued.

Review from HR Dept

Compensation and benefits could always be more competitive

Review from HR Dept

Many people get a bonus, I do not. The benefits could be better, they are ok. Sales gets everything and they rest of the departments have to be on a strict budget. We can't even afford the team to get together yearly and we can't do team activities. If you look at market value I am under paid.

Review from Operations Dept

Meaningful salary increases and bonuses

Review from Product Dept

I have worked for the company for some time and unable to achieve the next level role. When asked what I need to work on to achieve this level, there is zero feedback or reason as to why or how to move forward. Even with many other managers and peers agreeing I am ready for the next level.

Review from Business Development Dept

I believe my compensation should align with the responsibilities of my current position. Over a year ago, I was moved to a new role that is more technical and specialized. However, despite the increased responsibilities, I did not receive a promotion or an adjustment in pay to reflect that.

Review from HR Dept

I know we are in the process of building, and I appreciate that. My team and I go far beyond what we were originally hired to do; I hope that in the future, our work is compensated in line with other teams. Many of us came from higher-paying jobs and we stay because we love our bosses and our jobs.

Review from Operations Dept

The company has been excellent in adjusting my salary to align with the new responsibilities I’ve taken on. My experience and academic background have placed me higher within my current benchmark, and I look forward to the continued alignment

Review from HR Dept

I feel as if us employees should get sick time each year. Its sad that if you are sick or something happens and you need to leave early then you get an occurence. there should be sick time in place to avoid automatic occurences as far as pay theres no way I could live on my own making what i make

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel I have put in the time, effort, energy and work to earn a promotion.
