Just started working at Stanford and it is not at all what i expected. I expected to feel more welcomed and a sense of belonging. And I immediately got thrown into the cog.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Being at Stanford alone supports diversity and inclusion. But not within my department.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Stanford wildly under pays for the cost of living. They also under pay for the amount of work responsibilities expected.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better engagement from my manager and senior leaders in caring about their people. Being more transparent and equitable in decision making instead of creating a funnel at the top
