Over all experience was good. I have heard from colleagues who have joined Stanford pre pandemic said the actual orientation was amazing (gifts and nice lunch offered at the orientation). I wish Stanford would extend the same offer to employees who joined during pandemic.

The leadership team seems to care about individual employees.

Everyone seems friendly and willing to help each other.
What makes you most happy at work?
Doing valuable work and making good changes for students, faculties, and colleagues makes me happy at work.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I know I was underpaid for the market value because I got two other offers around the same time I accepted Stanford offer. It would definitely make me feel better if my compensation could be adjusted to reflect the market value.
