Transparency, enthusiasm for the mission and university, and caring about employees

People genuinely enjoy their work and the mission. Overall people want to be helpful and are generally positive

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

People do want to try to help and get things done and advance the mission of the school

What makes you most happy at work?

Solving problems and building things; leadership and management trusting my work and experience to allow me to do what I think is best

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compared to market compensation, especially in the IT/software engineering field. While base pay is probably 5-10% under market, not having any equity or bonuses makes it a significant difference
