He served as the President of Starbucks Coffee US at Starbucks Corporation from March 2008 to October 2011. He served as General Manager of Starbucks Coffee Company UK Ltd. He served as the President of U.S. Operations of Starbucks Corp. since March 2008; President of EMEA from April 2006 to March 2008 and served as its Senior Vice President of United Kingdom. He joined Starbucks Coffee Company in 2001 as a Managing Director of the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Starbucks, he served as Managing Director of Habitat Design Limited, the home furnishings company and was responsible for its UK business and European retail and franchises. During his 19 year career with Habitat, he spent seven years working for Heals, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Habitat. Mr. Burrows started his career with Littlewoods plc, where he was a management trainee. He completed his education in the UK.
