  • Yes, you are required to successfully pass the post course test to obtain CE credits and certification. This is required by our licensing boards for online courses.

  • Certificates are available at the end of the workshop for those who registered at least 5 business days prior to the workshop, were present for the full day, and are in good financial standing.

    If your certificate is not available at the workshop, please fill out a Certificate Request Form available at the registration table. Once the paperwork from the workshop has been received and processed, your certificate will be mailed or emailed depending on your preference. This may take up to 28 days.

  • What is the Summit CE Tracker?

    We understand that keeping track of all your various CE credits and certificates across multiple providers (and then for multiple professional licenses) is a tough task! We've simplified this tedious work for you with our CE Tracker.

    Simply log into your Summit Account or Subscription, and click the "Manage Licenses" and "Manage Courses" options under the CE Tracker section.

    Enter your license(s) information, then CE courses you've completed -- including uploading your PDF certificates. We'll keep everything collected and you can download your stored certificates at any point.

    Our team is also working hard to bring more features into this helpful tool. Enjoy!

  • Does Summit collect sales tax?

    Yes, starting in July 2019, Summit collects sales tax for online courses and any Summit Subscription if the customer billing address is in Tennessee or Texas.

    Will sales tax apply to my purchase?

    Yes, if you live in Texas or Tennessee and purchase an online course or any Summit Subscription plan. However, live courses and webinars are not taxed.

    If you are paying with a payment method connected to a tax exempt organization (via check, PO, or credit card), you may contact our customer service team to have your purchase tax exempt after meeting additional documentation requirements.

    How much is sales tax for me?

    Sales tax is a combination of state and local taxes:

    For Tennessee this calculation is based on Summit's home office location for everyone in Tennessee producing a tax amount of 9.75%.

    For Texas this amount varies based on your billing zipcode.

    A technical note for Texas: Summit's online courses and subscriptions are taxed with a 20% exemption applied, meaning only 80% of your order fee will actually be taxed. While you will see a standard tax rate noted during checkout and on your invoice, the actual tax amountnoted and charged will be based on this 80/20 formula.

    Will sales tax apply to my Summit Subscription renewal?

    Yes, if you live in Texas or Tennessee, regardless if tax was initially included on your subscription, it will now be added. If you work for a registered non-profit, please see below regarding tax-exempt purchases.

    I work for a non-profit company, do I have to pay sales tax?

    If you live in Tennessee or Texas and work for a non-profit, our customer service team can process your purchase as tax-exempt. You will be required to use a form of payment directly tied to your organization (company check, purchase order, or credit card) and may not use a personal credit card. You may also be required to submit a tax exempt form signed by the appropriate business contact at your company.Please call us at (800) 433-9570 for details.

  • Post course tests consist of True/False and/or multiple choice questions. You will be able to retake the post course test as many time as necessary to receive a passing grade. A passing "grade" is 75% or higher for general content, 80% or higher for certain state specific courses, like ethics, jurisprudence, and laws and rules courses.

  • Currently, all of our online workshops range from 1-6 credit hours (with some exceptions based on state and profession). You can view the licensing approval by profession on the Product page (middle of page, far right tab of "CE Credit") where you can see the exact number of credit hours for each profession and state.

  • Yes, you can always press pause or stop to take a break at your own convenience. The player will not save the last viewed spot, so please make note if you close the workshop. Please remember you need to finish the course and pass your post course test within 30 days. If you are a subscriber, the course will be available to you as long as your subscription is active!

  • Subscribers have access to all of our online courses for the length of their subscription!

    Once you purchase the online workshop, you have 30 days to view the workshop as many times as you want as well as to review the manual (if you choose not to download while taking the course). You can skip around (fast forward and rewind) as much as you like.

  • Why track my CE Courses (and upload my certificates)?

    Summit CE Tracker allows you to track all CE courses that apply to your professional license(s). After entering your License information, by entering all CE Courses you attend or take online, we'll be able to store all your CE Certificates in one location and help you see how many credits you've earned vs. your license requirements.

    Tracked courses can be from any CE provider in any format and apply to multiple licenses.

    Tracking a CE License & Upcoming a CE Certificate

    First log into your Summit account or Summit Subscription

    Click the "Licenses" option in the CE Tracker

    Click "Add New Course"

    Then enter the course information

    Optionally, you can upload a certificate PDF which we will store for you, allowing you to redownload from your CE Tracker whenever you need it

  • Why track my CE Licenses?

    Summit CE Tracker allows you to track all CE courses that apply to your professional license(s). By first entering your license information, we're able to help track your license renewal dates and your hours earned vs. required.

  • Does Summit report to ASHA?

    Yes! If you would like to obtain ASHA CEUs through Summit for completing an ASHA Registered course, it is necessary for you to submit a brief ASHA participant form to Summit immediately upon completion of your course.

    For Live Courses, you will be provided a Participant form to complete and return to your Instructor at the end of the workshop. Live course completions are reported no more than 45 days from the workshop date.

    For Online Courses, you will be prompted to fill out an Online form once you have completed the Online Course and post-course test. Online course completions are reported to ASHA Quarterly following the below schedule:

    Quarter 1: Online course Completions 1/1 - 3/31 will be reported to ASHA no later than 5/15

    Quarter 2: Online course Completions 4/1 - 6/30 will be reported to ASHA no later than 8/14

    Quarter 3: Online course Completions 7/1 - 9/30 will be reported to ASHA no later than 11/14

    Quarter 4: Online course Completions 10/1 - 12/31 will be reported to ASHA no later than 2/14

  • Yes! Summit offers CE Broker reporting on behalf of FL PTs, OTs, SLPs, ATCs and LMTs as well as for AL PTs, OH SLPs, SC PTs, OTs and SLPs. Licensees for states/professions outside of these listed should self-report at www.cebroker.com using the information provided on the certificate of completion.

    How to request CE Broker reporting:

    Live Courses

    Completed in the state of FL for by FL Licensees or by AL PTs, OH SLPs, SC PTs, OTs and SLPs: Summit will collect license #s on the sign-in sheet and will report automatically once your attendance has been verified, in up to 28 days from the day the course takes place.

    Completed outside the state of FL by FL Licensees or by AL PTs, OH SLPs, SC PTs, OTs and SLPs: Please email your request for CE Broker reporting to [email protected] after you have completed the course. Include in the email request: Report to CE Broker in the subject line, Name, Summit order #, Date of course completed, State, Profession and License number. Completions will be reported as soon as attendance has been verified via the Sign-in sheet (up to 28 days from the course) and an email confirmation will be sent in reply to the request. Please note if your state/profession is outside of those listed above you will have to self-report at www.cebroker.com using the information provided on your certificate of completion.

    Online Courses

    Completed by licensees who reside in FL, AL, OH and SC: The option to request CE Broker reporting will be available via a Report to CE Broker button in your Summit account beneath the course title. The button is available for 30 days from the date you pass the post-test. If the request for CE Broker reporting has not been submitted by the 30 day deadline, the button will disappear and you will have to self-report at www.cebroker.com using the information provided on their certificate of completion. Online completion requests for CE Broker reporting will be reported in up to 10 business days from the date the request was received.

    Completed by licensees who reside outside the state they are licensed in that are FL Licensees, AL PTs, OH SLPs, SC PTs, OTs and SLPs: Please email your request for CE Broker reporting to [email protected] after you have completed the course. Include in the email request: Report to CE Broker in the subject line, Name, Summit order #, Date of course completed, State, Profession and License number. Online course completions will be reported in up to 10 business days from the date the request was received. You will be emailed a confirmation as soon as the completion has been reported.

    Please note if a licensees state/profession is outside of those listed above they will have to self-report at www.cebroker.com using the information provided on their certificate of completion.

  • Substitutions may be made at any time.

    Requests for cancellation must be received ten (10) days prior to the workshop in order to receive a refund less a $20.00 administrative charge per canceled attendee.

    If the cancellation is made within ten days or less, refunds will not be granted for any reason. Instead, a credit will be issued for the original dollar amount paid that may be used toward any product Summit has to offer. This credit expires after one year.
