It depends. In my experience, one issue was handled rather quickly while another issue isn't being handled well at all. A person who caused a completely avoidable health issue was given several opportunities to change and was let go after he continued on with his previous behavior. Someone else who should have been fired ages ago for theft and harassment is still there because his manager thinks it's trivial so continues to protect him and LIE for him.
