What do you like best about the leadership team?

I like the constant commitment to transparency. It makes it easier to understand what's going on and how to make an impact. I don't waste time guessing what people really want or need as I have in past jobs.

There's an unparalleled amount of transparency from our leadership. Employees are treated as owners because we are all owners.

Super transparent decision-making on company-wide decisions is refreshing. The leadership has been generous and supportive in my first 6 months — but still provide a wide range of autonomy.

The total transparency. We always know what is going on with the company and where we are headed. I also like appreciate their approachability and respect for each member of the team.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Compensation Reviews

We're moving to nationwide salaries in 2022, which has been a really nice change. As someone who lives in a lower cost state, I now earn substantially more than I could have a couple years ago, which makes for a more comfortable life.

We have an open compensation system so you understand exactly what goes into your pay and how you can affect it.

A big component of salaries and bonuses depend on individual and company-wide performance — which is a huge plus as long as your expectations are aligned.

It's tied to performance, so I'm in control to some extent.

The equity and benefits really tie in with the culture. We all have a sense of ownership in the company and the product, and we all work towards the same goal.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Team Reviews

The company has been really good at hiring people who learn and grow quickly. Less capable people wouldn't make it here long - and the leadership has gotten better at making those hard calls when needed, while giving the individual a fair transition path.

We are not just co-workers, we're friends. We have an amazing culture and choose to spend time together regularly.

The team is growth-oriented, deliberate, and fast-paced. My coworkers made me feel welcome and valued from day #1.

They are the smartest, hardest-working humans I know, but they also have heart and a sense of humor, which makes interactions a pleasure.

It really feels like a team. We are all working towards the same goal, and everyone is willing to help anyone else at the drop of a hat.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Environment Reviews

No question is ever out of bounds. You can go to anyone, even the CEO, and ask hard questions and they actually appreciate it.

The feedback is regular so you're always able to move forward and grow in your career.

Flexibility to choose when and how you work. Everyone sets their own time off. You're measured by your results, not time spent working.

The transparency and ownership. Everyone is on the same page, and everyone is supportive.

People are quick to acknowledge the success or efforts of others. It's a fun environment with a lot of humor and personality, but there is also a focus on setting and reaching concrete goals.

What did you like most about the interview process?

I got to meet a number of team members before starting. Made it feel like I knew more people to get going on better footing.

I got to talk to both of the cofounders and complete a project related to what I would be doing in my position.

Super thorough, excellent feedback, and clear next steps along the way.

It gave me time to feel completely comfortable when the offer finally came in.

What makes you most happy at work?

Outlook Reviews

A sense of accomplishment. After going through a period of pivoting, it feels like we're seeing wins and momentum more regularly now. It's a lot of fun to see the work I do making an impact.

I get to help people every single day make the most of their time and efforts growing their business.

I immediately stepped into projects and responsibilities that make an impact. I feel like I'm making a difference every day.

Getting stuff done and seeing how my work impacts the bottom line directly.

Working along side great people, and being able to learn from so many talented minds.
