It has been difficult. I was given inaccurate information during the offer phase. I worked w/two or three HR people - but they could never answer questons. Onboarding was a challenge - I spent hours on the phone trying to get things corrected. There was no training for the work itself.

Pre-acquisition, Leadership kept associates informed and shared information as promptly as possible. They promoted a collegial environment and safe, happy workplace.

There is enough food to put on the dinner plate

The base pay is satisfactory, and on top of that the quarterly bonuses are a huge incentive.

I am not paid at market rate. Obviously a raise would help. Having a manager that instills confidence and allows growth would make my job more fulfilling.

I work as an intern and do have health insurance options, but it is still too expensive for me to utilize. Medical, dental, visual is offered for part-time work in addition to a 401(k) option where the company contributes.

They really care for each other and there isn't any bad apples who will try and exploit weaknesses to get ahead. Everyone respects each other.

For me personally, a better trained manager and a more robust, well-rounded team. For the company as a whole, it is hard to know post-acquisition. The average associate is so far removed from the leadership team, there is little to no insight.

The quick/fast communication. TD Isn't a place where you go for an interview and never hear back. They will call or email you the day after the interview for a good review or negative.
