I am overworked and underpaid. For years the people at this company have used me to get done what they need with no compensation. I have worked 20 hour days with management telling me that's not enough either. Meanwhile I was on sick leave it was unpaid because of not enough PTO. This is not right.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I've been abused as a worker for years and not been compensated. The company is selfish and uses people to get what they need just disposes of them.
What makes you most happy at work?
Learning new things and being able to help others.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all ready to help when someone is in need.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am overworked and underpaid. I need more money, better benefits, more time off
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Developing employees and not telling them that they are not qualified for the job. Communication style is very poor
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I need more competitive pay, benefits that cover more than the bare minimum and more perks from the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is really nice. No matter what they have to say or how much they want to say it, they're nice about it,
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
This is for half of my co-workers. They need to work on being more proactive. We are all in the same position but I have to responsible for micromanaging half of my co-workers or the job won't get done.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team is doing what they have with what they have. They need an assistant. Most of the workload from out management is delegated to us because our management isn't able to complete it. This is not a part of our job description or something we are being compensated for on our paychecks.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We do way to much work and our paycheck does not compensate for this at all. For some us that are in a "leadership role" but aren't actual leadership, this just means more work for us since we are reliable. The benefits are terrible. More than half of each check goes to benefits with only 10% covera
