Texas Roadhouse Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Customers and kind people who come in

Posted a month ago

The food is not the best but certainly not the worst and I would alway look forward to eating the food with the discount because when operating on a budget it does help but the food is expensive.

My customers, thats about it

Making others happy. Specially the guest.

Review from Sales Dept

Livelihood growth potential working and having fun

Interacting with my guest that I serve

I love to work, and they have a fast environment that I enjoy.

The guests for the most part.

Getting the work done that is required

Seeing new faces every shift

Knowing a few peiple 100% have our backs at work.

Positive attitudes, smiling faces, a smooth running shift, & of course the guest

Working with my people and their development.

My coworkers and their attitudes

Finding solutions for difficult situations

a few coworkers and one LED

doing my job to the best of my ability

Review from Operations Dept

Work itself was fun, and the people.

My friends that i have made and will keep for a very long time

Guests feedback about my performance

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Everything. The whole place needs a new general manager. She discriminates against whoever she wants. She gives special treatment to certain employees that she likes. She continues to hire servers even though many of her old enough employees want to move up to serving.

gratuity and fair rules to everyone

More assistance ans training from management

Review from Customer Success Dept

The managers need to defend their employees and stop bowing to the customers every single time.

Our managers need to care about the guest and the staff.

No a/c on the line which causes people to die out faster in their shifts

Review from Customer Success Dept

Good food, bad service/environment always

The bathrooms can be smelt in the dining room. The place is disgusting and not taken care of the hosts treat the customers like dirt apon arrival

thr managers are terrible. whole restaurant needs a makeover

Everything starting with the managers first

Taking things personal and treatseveryone different

The management needs to work on professionalism. Many in-direct teaching in practice and it is an uncomfortable work environment.

Management, particularly the GM doesn't care about employee health or guest safety. And basically everything in between has fallen ahort of expectations. I don't believe this can be fixed.

Review from Sales Dept

The schedule can be more consistent.

Review from Sales Dept

Management is horrendous, kitchen is gross

Review from Operations Dept

My managers are unreliable and my coworkers are unhelpful and the management staff isn’t very

Review from Sales Dept

Honestly our management team is the issue. Their have been derogatory comments about race amd other slurs that i dont feel are appropriate.

Review from Product Dept

For my position all i would need is communication with management as well is my co workers on the line. Im a Hot prep cook so communication is key

Review from Operations Dept

Make more money and enjoy my job

Review from Admin Dept

Managers becoming more strict and making it harder on the employees to do our jobs well and earn the money we deserve. Ridiculous rules need to be changed. They shouldn't fire people for standing up for themselves. They punish people by taking away tables which is taking away our livelihood
