What is the best part about your compensation package?
The 6% 401K match and the possibility to borrow from it to buy a house
I think I am paid very well compared to the industry. The 6% match is nice. Insurance is top notch. Time off is appreciated. Only thing that I would love more is reciprocals at other hotels. Maybe a night stay somewhere as a tenured manager in the hotel.

Different pay structure per part of the job.
The service charge model can be a difficult means of living for many food and beverage jobs that it is offered and should be revisited. Structured, hourly or salaried wages are preferable for those seeking stability, and longevity with a company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I work with a team of great people, all of them amazing in their own way. It's obvious that the Breakers goes through a careful selection of its employees and that this company cultivates a very positive and pleasant work-place culture.

The chance to interact with so many people in many different departments
The support. Always hear the horror stories about those that leave and they suddenly have zero support. Mentally, physically, emotionally. Everything falls upon them.
