My experience so far has been mostly positive as it has encouraged and grown my skills. I have noticed, however, many changes made to staff, management, support, etc. I am sure that it is all for the best, but it worries me about our expendability. I do love The Breakers overall!

I love working for this company and I love my managers and co workers my only complaint is not making enough money to pay my expeneses especially since the cost of living had gone up so much. Higher pay is my only request

The best part about the compensation package is the 401k match.

I personally dont feel undervalued, it would be nice to make a little bit more, but I am more concerned with those who have been employed for over 10 years and who are not compensated fairly. They are the ones who I believe are being undervalued.

Get more money per hour

There's an opportunity to match talent to role; the experience I bring isn't being used appropriately, and I could be bringing more value to my department. I've advocated for myself on numerous occasions and was only made empty promises.

Currently commisson only , which is difficult on quiet days to make enough pay. Maybe change to hourly plus commisson on slower days. Or advertise throughout the hotel to bring in more business or open more days to the public to bring in more guests. Or increase the gratuity to 18% for providers.

Commission percentage, number of workers too big for number of customers

They can read the energy of their coworkers really well. It makes for some caring and supportive coworkers

Some coworkers are great, some are disconnected, rude to guest and other team members.

Many co-workers are younger than me and need improvement with professionalism and customer service. I understand this can be coached and learned with experience. The team as a whole is great.
