The best part is PTO earnings
There needs to be enough hours from corporate to actually be able to do a decent job
You pay ceos but wont pay the people actually putting in work and wonder why there are turnover rates
If I thought anyone cared there it would be worth addressing.
I worked hard because I have that kind of drive and respect for my team leader Joe. The company doesn't pay well at all. Charleston SC. Is an expensive place to live. Trying to hire help at $9 an hour is a joke. W2 please. We all quit together...backroom Mgr, and team.
Paying people minimum wage is embarassing. Even so, if i was actually paid on time for the hours i worked it would have been tolerable.
I'm not paid extra to train people, run birthday parties/events, and when I stay late (pass my scheduled hours).
Being understaffed has myself and others doing double the work than what we're compensated for. The company NEEDS to raise the pay or they will continue to see poor morale, poor hires, and high turnover. Base raises off merit not percentages and raise pay to recruit quality candidates. Do better.
No rewards, incentives, or recognition for accomplishments for the company or for being a dedicated and dependable employee. A bigger raise would help. And some kind of appreciation.
They start people at $9 hr and there is little to no chance for advanced. Even when you get promoted you are paid significantly less than other companies are paying but your expected to have a level of knowledge regarding assets and crafts that they don't train for.
The only compensation we receive is hourly pay, sick hours (1 earned for every 30 hours worked), and insurance benefits for full time workers
We are underpaid in every position for the harsh economy that we are in now and it makes it hard to live.
My ideas and input aren't taken into consideration.
All the time, I would put in 200% to make this store run well, to be slapped in the face my high ups and told I could do better. Make me feel better, better pay, better communicating, a company who would really support the retail works and no blame them for sales or credit card scores.
A 1% wage increase is not even close to being fair, especially when the company has significantly increase prices, eliminated a few positions and piled that work onto the rest of us. A minimum wage should be a living wage, no one at my store, save maybe the store manager makes a living wage.
If DMs and other VIPs would be more considerate of the people who work in the stores, give us the hours we need to make it worth our time to work and make enough money to actually live on. With inflation, high gas prices consuming most of our income. life isn't good
There is very little room for advancement in pay. Staffing shortages have increased expectations but management shows no signs of responding to these shortages by increasing hourly pay.
Review from Sales Dept
Upper management has no clue what is going on at store level
I get paid well, but I am parttime so I have no benefits
Employees are making less than stores right next door to us for the same job. The incentive to leave while staying in the same area with better pay/hours is always there
Knowing the company would truly care about the employees and willing to go the extra miles to KEEP and compensate valuable employees.
