They pay about $10K less than other companies for the same position

Promotion from within. Telling people they are doing a good job.

Promoting from within instead of bringing in from the outside all the time.

They need to quit gossiping about each other during work as they think you will not find out

If I were to go to a different major corporation, I would make $10,000 + more than I do now

They are cliquey and makes it hard to want to come to work when you are put down all the time.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

There is no room for growth and when you apply for a different position you are not given the opportunity to interview as they want to hire from outside the company

Promote from within. They continually bring people in from the outside and so even when you earn an education to be promoted and you are put down for trying so hard to be a good employee
