What is the best part about your compensation package?

Bonuses are generous, health benefits are great. PTO is is generous and encouraged

There are no best parts to compensation, you are paid to perform a task, and year after year they add more, without promo

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Honestly the managment doesnt do much besides the stuff they got specifclh trained to do that we sales associates dont know about, but mist of the time i walk to the front to see one or two of the managers just sitting down in a chair talking together or they are just on their phones.

They can increase overtime rate of pay.

I have worked in every department at T.J. And the fact that I just got .25 cents raise is crazy and my coworker who got one point higher than me on our evaluation got .47 cents higher says FAVORTISM!!!!

The faster and harder you work, the more work they want from you. Lazy and underemployed people are placed in comfortable zones, work is not divided fairly among employees, and employees are always divided into two categories: hardworking and very underemployed and lazy. Compensation does not even cover cost of living there is no reason for the amount of work employees put in should be worried on how to pay rent or eat no reason full-time employees are working 2 or more jobs to get by you will do the work of five people run non stop and get low pay

I think this job has a lot of responsibilities & should pay at least $20.00 dollars an hour.

With the current economic situation. $13 an hr is a disgrace.

Because here in Texas as well as California the work is the same.. productivity, encourage, responsability, execution of your job, conmmitment etc and here in Tx wage is $ 12 others states have $16 dlls or more regular associate

I feel very valued verbally but when it comes to compensation that's where the undervalue comes in. I greet customers, answer customer questions, answer phone calls, do price checks for all departments, push stock, markdowns, take out trash, fill in whenever and wherever needed

The amount of work doesn't equal compensation

The company wants a "safe" work place but handcuffs are placed on all associates

Nice clean clothing, for years loved the job until you decided to force people to wear nice clothes to clean up shit, then go have to helping customers. Clearly you have no consideration for the employed

Given fair pay and yearly increase can be better. Always work as a team and encouragement to all.

I've been there for years, was left in place of manager on several occasions and was never compensated for it. I'm still getting entry level pay.

They should at least pay what other PT jobs pay
