I love everything about my job, except that I am on my feet constantly.
What did you like most about the interview process?
We ask that you pick outfits for 3 scenarios, including shoes and accessories to judge a fashion sense and the ability to sell a complete outfit. I think that's really unique.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is passionate about fashion, and they love providing "wow" moments for our guests. Torrid is unique in that: women who haven't loved their bodies in years find a way to love their body again in new clothes that feel and look amazing. My team lives for those moments. We're changing lives!
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I dread the pain of working. I'm on me feel for my whole shift minus a 30 minute lunch, and this brand is for big girls- we're all plus sized at work. Big girls on their feet all day end up with foot pain, hip pain, knee pain, and general muscle aches. Allowing sitting at the register would be good
